The HAWKINS Walking No. 1 series has been completely revamped under the supervision of Japanese shoemakers, from the pattern to the outsole design. The upper is made of genuine leather that becomes more comfortable with wear, pursuing a high-quality, deep, and luxurious look. A waterproof and breathable Japanese-made membrane, "Watertech," is layered between the upper and lining, ensuring peace of mind even in bad weather. The thick, highly cushioned cup insole reduces fatigue even during long walks. The outsole is a combination of lightweight, cushioned IP sole and rubber, and the rubber portion is blended with tetrapod-shaped needle crystals called "Panatetra" to achieve high grip and excellent slip resistance. This is a shoe that pursues the ultimate in comfortable walking.
